Furnace 30 is just the beginning. The FC era introduces phase-based building upgrades and a strict dependency logic. Plan your crystal spending carefully.
CRITICAL: SVS SYNERGY
Do NOT spend Fire Crystals. We must HOLD all crystals and deploy them strictly during SvS Prep Stage 1 (City Construction) and Stage 2 (Basic Skills Up). Each FC used scores 2,000 points. Maximizing this is how states win SvS.
🔥 Transitioning to Fire Crystals
Once your Furnace reaches Level 30, buildings no longer upgrade to "Level 31" in a single click. Instead, you enter the Fire Crystal (FC) tiers. Upgrades now require base resources (Wood, Meat, Coal, Iron) plus a massive amount of the new premium currency: Fire Crystals.
The 5-Phase System
Every FC level is divided into 5 incremental phases. You pay resources/crystals and wait for a build timer for each phase. You receive a minor stat buff per phase, but the building does not reach the next tier (unlocking new skins or abilities) until all 5 phases are completed.
Never Cancel Upgrades
If you cancel an FC upgrade in progress, the game only refunds 50% of the Fire Crystals spent. Always commit.
New FC Skins
Upon successfully completing the 5th phase (reaching FC1, FC2, etc.), your building automatically transforms with a new visual appearance.

🔗 The Hidden Prerequisite Chain
You cannot upgrade buildings in a vacuum. To progress through the Fire Crystal tiers, you must follow this mandatory dependency chain. Study this carefully.
🔥 Furnace 30-1 → FC1 (660 FC Total)
Requires Embassy Lv.30 & Research Center Lv.30 (standard F30 reqs). Max this immediately.
🏛️ Embassy FC1 & 🐎 Lancer Camp FC1 (165 + 295 FC)
After reaching Furnace FC1, you MUST upgrade both the Embassy and the Lancer Camp to FC1 to unlock the Furnace FC2 upgrade path.
🔥 Furnace FC1-1 → FC2 (790 FC Total)
The path is unlocked. Complete this to lift the level cap for all other buildings.
🏛️ Embassy FC2 & ⚔️ Infantry Camp FC2 (195 + 355 FC)
After Furnace FC2, you MUST upgrade the Embassy and Infantry Camp to FC2 to unlock the path to Furnace FC3.
🔥 Furnace FC2-1 → FC3 (1,190 FC Total)
The final push for our current State cap. Extremely expensive phase (238 FC per sub-level).
